What Is This

Hello fellow weavers and welcome to NightLoom's very FIRST weekly newsletter! This weeks news letter may be short, but that's okay! It'll grow as the server does. This week will mainly cover the topics of upcoming features for NightLoom and our members. As always phrased, NightLoom is ALWAYS under construction. There for; some projects may be set into action soon, while others may be worked on for a while.

Official & Moderation

Staff applications are currently open until the 19th of March! Positions opening are admins, mods, partner managers, and educators. Applicants MUST be *13 or older, mature, and active. That's it for staff application requirements.Staff members will be set in different teams to help manage different aspects of the server as a whole.

NightLoom systems will be changed. From features, to moderation, to much more. Systems will be rebuilt and reorganized to make things easier for staff and members.

Social media content is currently being planned and worked on. Pinterest, Instagram, and even other platforms soon.A YouTube channel is being constructed. There'll be fun recordings from events, with members permissions of course. As well as things like educational and eventful videos.

NightLoom will be getting new graphics soon. From official logos, icons, banners, and much more. Our colors and overall celestial them will stay the same, but the place will be much more branded.

The discord server will go through a slight remodel. Nothing big or super noticeable. Some channels and categories will be deleted, created, or merged. Messages may be changes, and bots will be updated and reconfigured.

Overall, NightLoom will be slightly changed, remodeled, and formally branded for the better. We'll be an official community with an official brand.This is all in hopes of making NightLoom a better looking AND feeling place. This doesn't mean that we will become extra strict or anything. Just better systems to make things easier for staff and more fun and easier for members!NightLoom will still be very fun, welcoming, and comfortable!

Updates

NightLoom's first weekly event is our Coven Campfire! Join our discord VC EVERY Friday at 14:00 (4PM EST) to hang with others. Talk about witchy experiences or whatever else comes to mind.Starting March 21st, we will have a weekly movie night every Saturday at 21:00 (9PM EST). Maybe a little chatting before watching a movie, discussing it and even more chatting.NightLoom will now have weekly features starting March 15th (EST). Not JUST for members, but things for the community. Being featured is about more than being active. It's about being a PART of the community, participating and such.

Upcoming Features

Witchy Courses — A slight academy to learn about different aspects of witchcraft and such. From witchcraft basics, mithos, lithics, herbcraft, literature, and much more. This'll be a completely free academy for those who'd like to learn more about mystical and unknown beauties.JinxCraft — NightLoom's very own members only realm! There'll be factions of sorts and quests. Form a coven, guild, or even a hearth. The more active you are, the more you earn! Join, play, and adventure. Or even get in on the LORE!Economy & Shop — A fun and interactive way to participate in the community. You can earn from things as simple as just yapping. Shop items for the server, realm, and way more!Ranks & Badges — Be active, participate, and earn ranks and badges. There'll be plenty of ways to earn and have fun with them. From just talking to participating in events.

NightLoom Archive — A community study/library. From spells, history, media, and more. A nexus for everything within the server. Learn, share, and research. Build it together.Grimoire Night — A weekly night to work on our archive as a community. A show and tell for our archive. Bring spells, media, and other things you'd like to add to the archive. We'll talk about them as a whole and share our ideas.Herbal Hour — A weekly vc event to talk about different rooted life forms and their uses. Flowers, greens, and fungi. Discuss and learn about their uses. Magically and practically.
